Study at Turkish universities and language schools

Foreigners enrolled in Turkish universities, language courses or exchange programmes need a student residence permit for the duration of their studies. For programmes longer than three months you generally obtain a student visa at a Turkish consulate first, then convert it to a student residence permit at the local migration office after arrival.
